PerfectBackup+, one of the most popular backup programs for Linux and Unix, is dead.

As some of you will know, we ran an online survey these past 18 months to gauge interest in the software. Suffice to say we did not find enough interest to invest the time and money in the restarting of the project.

This is a sad day, but probably best for all concerned.

There are some excellent software packages out there that can meet your requirements. BRU is still around, LoneTar is still available, Arkeia have and excellent product and then there are open source efforts like amanda and rsync that can provide pretty much anything that you might want.
